Focusing on the theme “Standards Make Cities Smarter”, the 2017 Qingdao Forum on International Standardization will take place in Qingdao, Shandong province on June 27-29.

Under the guidance of China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Standardization Administration of China and the Shandong provincial government, the event is hosted by the Qingdao municipal government.

It offers a high-end platform for governments, enterprises and other stakeholders to conduct in-depth discussions related to international standardization and social, economic and environmental development.

The VSS Workshop is the first seminar held by a Chinese national platform on this issue.
